On March 26, EGIDE will join a roundtable organized by France Deeptech and Hexa in Paris, bringing together founders building the next generation of European counter-drone technologies.
As unmanned aerial systems continue to proliferate across modern battlefields, traditional air defense systems are increasingly challenged by the scale, speed and cost of emerging drone threats. This shift is driving the development of a new generation of technologies designed to improve detection, electronic warfare, jamming and interception capabilities.
The event will bring together several founders working on key technological building blocks of this evolving ecosystem, including Alta Ares, Stronghold AI, Iris Lab and EGIDE.
The discussion will focus on how deeptech innovation is enabling more autonomous, precise and scalable counter-drone systems capable of responding to increasingly complex aerial threats.
For EGIDE, these conversations reflect a broader transformation in defense: the need for agile technologies capable of countering the rapid evolution of unmanned systems.
At EGIDE, we are contributing to this effort by developing autonomous interceptor systems designed to neutralize hostile drones and help operators regain control of contested airspace.
We look forward to exchanging with fellow founders, engineers and investors working on the future of European counter-drone capabilities.
